Lottie Sutphin, a caring and devoted person, passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 80. Born on January 7, 1943, to the late Martha and Jack Rouse  Lottie's life was marked by a deep love for her family and a zest for life.

Lottie is survived by her loving husband, Buck Sutphin, with whom she shared many cherished memories. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and Lottie will be dearly missed by her daughter Morgan Edwards and son-in-law Willie Edwards. Lottie was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, always putting others before herself.

A true fan of the show Touched by an Angel, Lottie was inspired by its messages of faith and hope. She was a firm believer in the power of love and compassion and carried these values into her daily life. Lottie loved to stay active, with walking being her favorite form of exercise. She found solace in nature and the great outdoors, especially enjoying vacations in the mountains.

Lottie was a nurturing soul who had a passion for caring for others, particularly children. Babysitting was one of her most cherished activities, as her keen ability to connect with little ones brought immense joy to her and those around her. She also had a love for the color blue, a hue that seemed to embody her calm and comforting presence.

Lottie Sutphin will be forever remembered by all those whose lives she touched, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and happiness. 

Services will be held at Dunn Cemetery, at 3 pm on June 2, 2023
