Lorin's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine "Lorin" Graye on August 23, 2025, surrounded by loving friends and family. Born on January 17, 1961, Lorin was a remarkable individual, known for her wit, effervescent personality, and profound love for giraffes.
Lorin was a cherished mother of three, survived by her daughter, Paige Graye, and sons, Max and Dylan Graye. Her distinctive spirit touched many lives, and her legacy of kindness will endure in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Music was an integral part of her life, with artists like Pat Benatar, Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams, Imagine Dragons, Supertramp, Elton John, and The Fray often resonating through her home. Watching Friends and various crime documentaries was a favorite pastime, along with creating her own crafts.
Lorin was a successful model between 1978 and 1990, doing a bit of everything—from runway shows to magazine covers. Her charisma and presence also led to some small roles in several soap operas, where she brought her signature charm to the screen. One of her most memorable achievements was winning the television game show Super Password, co-starring the legendary Betty White. But despite her myriad of accomplishments, Lorin always cited her role as a mother to her three children as her greatest achievement.
Lorin's bubbly and talkative character made her a joy to be around. Her witty remarks often left others in splits, while her innate kindness drew people to her. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and these qualities will be deeply missed.
In honor of Lorin's life and the mark she has left behind, let us remember her with joy, appreciate the love she shared, and strive to carry forward her legacy of kindness. May her soul rest in peace.
