It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Ceglia, a woman of warmth, charm and a distinct fondness for animals. Born in 1957, Lorraine spent a life filled with love, laughter and generosity, leaving a profound impact on those around her. She departed from this world on March 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to influence and inspire generations to come.

Survived by her loving son, Joseph Ceglia, daughter, Lori Reeves, and seven grandsons, Lorraine's love and benevolence radiated beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many. Her vivacious personality and genuine care made her a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her.

Lorraine was a role model for authenticity, teaching by her own example to never apologize for being oneself. This invaluable lesson, alongside her many contributions, will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

Perhaps one of the most unforgettable aspects of Lorraine's life was her profound love for animals. She leaves behind a legacy of care and compassion for all creatures, both big and small. Lorraine's house was often filled with the joyous sounds of her furrier family members, who will miss her dearly.

In memory of Lorraine, we celebrate a life well-lived, a love generously shared, and a spirit that will continue to guide us even as she has moved on. She was an embodiment of love, laughter, and resilience and will be profoundly missed by her human and fur families alike.  Her ashes will be spread along the New Jersey shore in the summer of 2026.
