Lornia leaves behind her beloved children, daughter Lornette McRae, sons Marquis McRae (Rainene), WC McRae, and Clarence Robinson, her grandchildren and a host of family & friends. As a mother, her greatest accomplishment was her children and her husband, who she loved dearly. Her legacy as a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend will long be remembered by those who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Guyton, Jr., mother Eula B. Tillman, father Thomas J. Tillman, and brothers Jerome and Timothy Tillman. Her sisters, Eula Peeples (James) and Dorothy Lee, and brother Clayton Tillman survive her.
A graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School in 1973, and a lifelong learner, Lornia enjoyed small pleasures in life such as Strawberry Cheesecake and Canadian Mist. She was quite the fan of oldie goldies and enjoyed watching her favorite Soap Operas and Western movies. The Miami Dolphins was her favorite sports team and she enjoyed watching award shows. Lornia also had a penchant for word search puzzles and preferred to spend her leisure time with family and friend or listening to music. Her favorite local spots included Snappers & Jackson's Soul Food Restaurant. She loved a good souse.
Lornia enjoyed living, no matter what she was doing. Despite having the option to travel, she often said that her favorite vacation spot was at home & close to family. She was passionate about ensuring the well-being of her husband and children. Her warmth, humor, and resilience will be truly missed by all.
As we mourn the loss of Lornia, we also celebrate her remarkable life. She left an indelible mark on everyone she met and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege to know her.
