Lori's obituary
Lori Anne Moore-McKnaw was born on June 13, 1953 in Belleville, IL. After graduating from Belleville high school in 1971, she went on to study physical education at Illinois state.
After graduation, she landed her first job as a physical education gym teacher for Belleville East High for 27yrs.
In 1974, she met Ronald L McKnaw and they wed in 1980, going on to have 2 children, Cassie Anne McKnaw, 33 and Jacob Michael McKnaw, 36.
When Lori had Jacob, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Lori excelled at propping up Maggie Moore, Randy and Robyn Moore, and her many nieces and nephews, and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others
Lori was a passionate mother, friend, and family member and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her home office practicing scrapbooking and other crafts she always enjoyed doing. We will miss her greatly.
Lori was predeceased by Susan and Terry Moore, and Robyn Moore. She is survived by Ronald, Jacob, Cassie, Randy, Pam, Danielle, and Nicole Moore.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 624 State St East Carondelet, IL 62240. There will be a celebration of life from 3-5pm on Thursday Dec. 30 at 950 State East Carondelet, IL 62240.
