Ms. Lori Ann Banks, 58, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away Monday. February 15 in Springfield, Oregon. She was born in Flint, Michigan, on January 18, 1963. She was retired from the Prince George's County School system and previously served in the United States Army. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in History from American Military University. She was hard-working, funny, brilliant, and loved. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Nola Earls, sister Tracy Earls, and brother Martin Earls.

She is survived by her son Ned Banks and his wife Giuliana Valencia-Banks of Baltimore, MD, her daughter Ashley Hill of Springfield, OR, her daughter Brandi Smithwick and her husband Branden Smithwick of Bowie, MD, her son Ricco Hill of Bowie, MD, and daughter Nola Hill of Bowie, MD, niece Rochelle Earls of Bowie, MD, her three grandchildren Kaliyah, Christian, Naomi, and Natalie, and grand nephew Sebastian. She is also survived by her brother Fred Earls II of Vasser, MI, her sisters Relda Blankenship of Smoot, WY, Kristy Bowler of Afton, WY, and numerous nieces and nephews.
