Lori and her husband Bob moved to Kingman 17 years ago for health reasons from Minnesota. Lori then did hospice work in Kingman for several years until it took too bad of a toll on her back. So she took her money from social security disability all $318 of it and some donations from the businesses in Kingman and made sandwiches and lunches and whatever the homeless people needed as far as clothes, coats, sweaters hats personal items she took to them behind Bashas and Kmart winter and summer, until she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer she then went back to Minnesota was treated at the Mayo Clinic and pronounce cancer-free. Came back to Arizona start helping the homeless again 4 months later she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Her and her husband fought this terrible disease for 5 months. and finally losing the battle on April 12th.
