Lorrie's obituary

We commemorate the life of Loretta "Lorrie" Williamson, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and mawmaw, who passed away on January 18, 2025. Born on February 1, 1971, Lorrie was a beacon of strength and compassion, whose legacy will continue to inspire her loved ones and everyone who was fortunate to know her.

Lorrie is survived by her loving daughter, Jordan(William) Huber; her cherished son, David Rogers; her mother, Rita Drescher; her father, Carl Williamson; her grandchildren, Jean, Athena, Freya and Wyatt; and her brother, Danny Williamson. Lorrie was predeceased by her son, Bonscott Samsal.

Known for her honesty, Lorrie embodied the essence of motherhood and hard work in every facet of her life. Her caring nature formed the backbone of her career at Columbus Colony Elderly Care and Arlington Care Center. Here, she formed countless connections and left an indelible mark on her colleagues and those she cared for with her unwavering commitment and compassion.

Lorrie preached the virtue of persistence throughout her life. "Keep fighting for what you believe." she would often say, embodying this lesson in the face of any adversity. Her greatest accomplishment, she would always assert, was her children and grandchildren, who have embodied her strength and compassion.

Lorrie has left behind a legacy of determination and compassion. Her memory will continue to inspire, offering comfort and guidance to all who knew her. Her spirit will forever be cherished and remembered, illuminating the path for those who loved and respected her.
