Loretta was born on September 27, 1939 to Melvin F. " Jack" Armstrong and Helen Chappell Armstrong in Minco OK. She was a graduate of Minco High School. She entered the work force as a Bank Teller and later became a stay at home mom with her three daughters. She then re-entered the work force as a Bank Teller and later became the Officer Manager of an Insurance Company.  In 1987 she entered the world of Real Estate and was a successful Realtor until her retirement in 2017.

She loved her three daughters with all her heart and was so devastated when her youngest daughter; Jaymie, passed away suddenly in 2005. She loved being a Grandma and was estatic when she became a Great-Grandma or "GiGi" as they called her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaymie Ross, her parents, Jack Armstrong and Helen Richardson, and her son-in-law, Charles Chappelear.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Chappelear and Kathy Abston (Eric); her grandchildren, Michael Chappelear (Dawn), Matthew Chappelear, Natalie Pauly, and Emalie Gutierrez (Joe); her great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dawson, Dalton and Deacon Pauly, Maia and Eli Gutierrez; her sisters and brothers, Mary Lou Haskins Doughty, Bill Armstrong (Carol), Jackie Hine, David Richardson (Donna), Phil Richardson (Janalee), and Sharon Valentine (Dale); and her many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

She will be remembered as a gracious, classy, loving, caring, sweet, generous and beautiful lady who was loved by all. She made an impact on everyone she met, no matter how brief the encounter.
