Loretta's obituary
Loretta Chrystie, a cherished family member and talented artist, was born on December 8, 1940, and gracefully departed from this world on April 23, 2025. Her vibrant spirit, love for painting, and her artistic creativity are forever imprinted on the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.
Loretta lived a fulfilling life where art and family were her priorities. Her passion for painting was not only a recreational activity but also an extension of her soul. Art was a language through which she expressed her joys, sorrows, and observations of life. Her canvas was a testimony of her journey, and her brush strokes were her voice.
Despite our sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her artistry will continue to inspire and soothe us. Loretta's legacy is far from being a collection of canvas and colors. Her legacy is an abundance of art, filled with her experiences and emotions, which her family members will pass down, keeping her memory alive.
Loretta’s warmth and love live on through her family. She is lovingly remembered by her child, Addison Chrystie, and her granddaughter, Jordyn Leeper, and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Everly Leeper, who carry within them her strength, resilience, and passion for art. Loretta's presence in their lives will forever leave a mark of love and determination.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Loretta touched are invited to celebrate her life. A dedicated service will be held on May 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Addison's place of residence in High Point, NC (please contact Addison or Jordyn for the address) It will be an occasion for us to remember Loretta's beautiful journey, share stories, shed tears, but most importantly, to honor a life well lived. We will gather not to mourn her loss but to celebrate the beauty of her life and the joy she brought into ours.
We ask you to bring your fondest memories of Loretta, and together we will celebrate the remarkable woman she was. Her life was a tapestry of love and dedication, painted with bright colors and bold strokes. As we say our farewell to Loretta Chrystie, we do so remembering the incredible woman she was and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
