Loren's obituary

Loren Edward Capper Wildhorse, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2025, in Napavine, Washington. Born on November 25, 1963, Loren lived a life marked by quiet generosity and heartfelt compassion.

Loren was known to many as “Wildhorse,” a name that reflected his unique spirit and enduring strength. He was a very sweet man—gentle in demeanor and steadfast in his willingness to help others. Those who knew him could always count on his selfless acts of kindness. Whether offering a listening ear or lending a helping hand, Loren was someone you could reach out to in times of need.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the companionship of his beloved cat, Bandit. Their bond brought him comfort and happiness, and he cherished every moment spent on his long hauls with his furry friend.

Loren is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dinning; his oldest brother, Russell Capper; younger sister, Lisa Novotny; youngest brother, Keith Capper; and youngest sister, Christina Capper. He also leaves behind his niece Natasha Capper; nephews Russell Capper Jr., Devin Capper, Ronnie Capper; niece Naomi Capper and nephew Brian Carlberg.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank Capper, mother Jeanette Carlberg, and sister-in-law Sue Capper.

Loren’s memory will live on through the lives he touched with his warmth and generosity. May his legacy of kindness bring comfort to those who mourn him.
