I had the pleasure of getting to know Mitch through work. I considered him one of my best colleagues to work with. I always enjoyed my conversations with him and learned from his experience. He will dearly be missed and my condolences go to his family. He was a great man!

My condolences to Mitch's family. I first met Mitch when he hired me in 2006, great boss and I am deeply sorry to see that he is no longer with us.

Mitch was my first love, and my first heartbreak.  Young teenagers we all were - the Browns, the Paulsens, the Nolan's, the Rovenstines,  Lloyd, Otto, and many others.   Bucking barrels, Swede Hanson's.  Little Britches and High School Rodeos, Rodeo dances in Black Forest.   Drive In movies with who knows how many kids hiding behind the front seats in the cab of Mitch's pickup truck.  Hanging out in tents in our backyards.    So much fun and so many memories.  Wouldn't change a thing.   I drive by our old houses on Winston and Alpine and always smile....always will.  My heart goes out to all the Brown Family...I have always loved all of you.  Peace my old friends.  Love, Tammie Nolan

So many memories from our younger days! We spent ever summer together and had so much fun. Mitch was the big brother I never had!

To Pam, family and friends,  it is hard to understand why someone so good is taken at an age that is too young in mine and David’s eyes. It is God’s plan that we should not question but can not help but wonder why.  May God be with you during this time of sadness. My heart is sad, but my memories are in overdrive. Mitch and I met in 7th grade at East jr. We were drawn together because we were the only 2 wearing cowboy boots. We became fast friends and were inseparable our teenage years.  Our farm, his farm , my house his house. My youth group , his. We double dated and the funny thing was my mom was like if your with Mitch it’s ok and his mom the same. Little did our mothers know the mischief we got into.  We planned to go to Australia to raise cattle, we never did lol. We made so many friends together, you all know who you are. I could not name them all here. My friends became his and his became mine! We picked on our little brothers, sorry Shawn AND Chris. And I had the biggest crush on Tina! We cruised Nevada , for a time I had a 56 Chevy pick up he then shows up with a 55 Ford pickup. He was always Ford me Chevy. Many fishing trips, drive ins and movies. I remember the last one we saw together. Gosh I could go on and on. I loved him and even tho time got between us, we would randomly run across each other. At the fair or visiting a church and he even showed up at my neighbors house! The last few years it was messaging on Facebook. Everytime our path crossed it made me smile just to hang out and catch up. I loved his giggle!  And I always considered him my friend. My teenage years into early adulthood could not be told without him. My thoughts and prayers are with Pam and the girls, grandkids. To Mr Brown and Tina and Shawn. The many family and friends. To Rick, Gary, Rod, Loren and many more. I grieve with you all and will miss the chance meetings God seemed to plan for us.  Much love and prayers , Greg Rovenstine
