It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loren Robert Avenson on August 8, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, at Heritage Living Center, Park Rapids, Minnesota.
Loren was born April 28, 1933, the second of five children of Harry Avenson and Pearl (Manlove) Avenson. He was baptized and confirmed at First English Lutheran Church in Dorset. He grew up on the family farm south of Nevis, and attended country school through eighth …
