Teresa, AJ and Angie... I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. I spent some of my day today remembering 'Mom' and all the great times at Silverlake. She took good care of us!

I always shared a special place in my heart for Loralee. She was always so kind and sweet and thoughtful in all my interactions with her. I remember enjoying a few visits over the years, but this last one stands out just a few months ago. She made it a point to come out of her room to see me, say hi and give me a big hug. I think at that stage it was a lot of work for her, but she always wanted to see me the few times I came around. So that was sweet. She will be missed!

Maybe the same day we toured the Queen Mary. Does anybody remember for sure?

Mom's only been gone for a few days, so as you can imagine we're all still keenly feeling her loss. As one who rarely remembers dreams beyond a few waking moments, I am so thankful to remember upon waking yesterday a dream featuring my mom. It was strange, as dreams are, as to time and place, but my best guess would place it in the mid 80's. Mom was happy and peaceful and she approached me two times that I can recall. Both times she said to me that she was "going up to the loft to rest". My word, even just typing this brings tears to my eyes. My mom has been delivered up to heaven and is now resting peacefully with her Lord. No more sorrow. No more pain. Only joy and peace. Thanks for the visit, Mom. I will hold it close to my heart. I love you and miss you so.
