Sue's obituary

Lora (Sue) Ann Walter-Doud was born in San Diego, California on Dec 23rd 1947 and lived most of her life in California.

She was a free-spirited, funny, and loving thread in her family that she cared for so much. She enjoyed growing plants and befriending animals of all kinds.

She built control panel components 1-25 for NASA space shuttles, was a toy maker at Mattel and lived on the Fjellstrom farm in Lehi, Utah where she fostered her love for horses; making her a longtime Kentucky Derby fan.

Beloved mother to Stephanie and Shane Doud, caring nana to Joey, Grace, Alana, Max and Ivan, loving sister to Gerry, Debbie, Rick and Kim, crazy aunt Sue to many nieces and nephews, and a true friend to others who knew her.

She was a long time member of the LDS church and was welcomed into heaven by her mom Jacqueline L. Black-Walter, her step dad Richard K. Walter, her younger brother Rick S. Walter and her first born son (whom she hoped to be reunited with) Steven Bramley.

She transcended May 13th 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma while living with her daughter and grandchildren.
