Lonnie leaves behind a remarkable legacy filled with style, charm, and an unwavering love for his family. Known for his impeccable fashion sense, Lonnie took pride not only in his own appearance but also in ensuring his children were equally well-presented. His magnetic personality and vibrant spirit illuminated every room he entered. Lonnie’s presence was a treasured gift to friends and family, who adored him as much as he cherished them.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Jerome Nelson, and his grandparents. He is survived by his devoted mother, Deborah Grace, his eight children: Miyonnie Nelson, Zoe Nelson, Jocelyn Reed, CJ Nelson, Trayvon Nelson, Tyoh Feliciano Long, Tyon Sequail Long, and Lonnie Nelson Jr. (Ll), as well as his four sisters: Latonya Grace, Debrieta Latosha Ferguson, Katrina Nelson, and Ashley Nelson. He will also be lovingly remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
