On Monday, July 8, 2019, Lonnie Matier Ludwig, Jr., adoring father of 3, left his Earthly body to be with the Lord. All those closest to Lonnie knew him as Binks, and his grandkids called him Papa Binks.

Binks was born on the Ides of March, 1946, in Houston, Texas to Lon and Dorothy Ludwig. As a loving father, a Marine Crops Reservist, a smart businessman, and a faithful believer in God, he is one of the greatest men to ever walk this Earth. He will forever be remembered for his silliness and sense of humor, his no-nonsense approach to life, and his unwavering faith in God.

Binks is preceded in death by his father, Lon, and his mother, Dorothy. He is survived by his son, Daniel, his daughters, Hollie and Julie, his brother Joel, his nephew Abraham, his six grandchildren, and 2 great-nieces, as well as the mother of his children, Cindy Thompson.
