lona's obituary
He was born in Upolu, Samoa, the son of Malakai and Louisa lamaleava immigrated to Long Beach, California.
He was a long time craftsman who thrived renovating homes in the communities of Long Beach, California. He loved to spend time with friends and family. Mainly enjoying playing the guitar at family functions and singing live music.
lona was preceded in death by his son Sione. He is survived by his children Billy,Jonah,Lydia Maiki (Manu); 6 grandchildren; and his sister Pecky Moinanuu (Fale)
An intimate ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday November 6, 2021 at the oldest son Billy's home before he is sent back to Samoa to be laid to rest. Pls contact for details as this will be immediate family only due to covid safety measures.
