Lois's obituary

Lois F. (Hall) Owens, 59, longtime resident of Attleboro, MA; passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 26, 2022 in North Providence, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael William Owens, Sr.

Born on June 5, 1963 in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles Russell Hall and the late Sandra Louise (Manton) Hall.

Raised and educated in her native community of Attleboro, Mrs. Owens attended Attleboro High School and completed courses as a paralegal at Bristol Community College. Lois worked multiple years at Lambco Appliances before she helped with her husband’s business, M. Owens General Construction, in Attleboro.

A warm and caring woman whom oftentimes extended her heart and home to those in need and would give the shirt off her back. She enjoyed rescuing animals, camping with her children, spending time on the boat, and especially being with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy bringing so much love and excitement into her life.

In addition to her late Husband, Mike, she leaves her loving children: Chantel A. (Owens) Frazier and her husband, Lucas A. Frazier, of Attleboro, MA; and Joseph R. Owens of North Attleboro, MA.  She was the mother of the late Daniel J. Owens Sr., and the late Michael W. Owens Jr. She was the dear sister of Anita L.(Hall) Bays and her late husband, Kevin Bays of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Charles H. Hall and his wife, Irene (Graham) Hall, of Exeter, New Hampshire. Lois was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren including Skylar F. Frazier, Hunter L. Frazier, Noah M. Frazier, Angalina M. Owens, Daniel J. Owens Jr., Ethan A. Owens, Arianna R. Owens, Shayla C. Owens, and Chace Phillips; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

All services will be private.

In honor of Lois’ love for animals, donations in her memory may be made to any non-profit organization benefiting animals.
