Lois Ann Micucci (Grove), 79, of Perry Hall, MD and York, passed away on January 11,2022 after a battle with COVID.

Lois was born on March 7, 1942 to Edna and Wilson Grove in Perry Hall, MD. In her teen years, she met Nicholas Micucci, her best friend and love of her life. They married and had two children Anthony (Tony) Micucci and Gina Babka.

Lois was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She was passionate about reading and politics. She was an excellent cook who learned quickly and expertly how to create Italian cuisine for her family. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found traveling with Nick or working in her garden. We will miss her greatly.

She was a light to her children and grandchildren. Always a cheerleader and supporter of those she loved. She loved to talk and could make friends so easily. She said hello to every baby she passed and would chat with every cashier or waitress she had! She was also a great listener, secret keeper, and confidant. She will be greatly missed!

Lois was predeceased by her mother and father, Edna and Wilson Grover, sister Joan Grove Parsons, and her beloved husband Nick Micucci. She is survived by her children Tony Micucci and Gina Babka, son in law Mark Babka. Her nephews/nieces Jeff Parsons and Steve and Donna Parsons. Her grandchildren Nichole and Jed Heindel, Angelina and Dominick Micucci, and Michelle and Brad Myers. Her great grandchildren Jace, Camden, and Jaxon Heindel, Sophia Dibert, and Makayla Salinski.

The family has not planned a service at this time due to COVID. If this changes, they will update this site.
