Lois Clare Kuhn, born on December 6, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away at the age of 91 on December 27, 2023, in Modesto, California.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Judith, loving son DeWayne, and cherished grandchildren Christopher (and his wife Kerri), Nicole (and her husband Christopher), Ashley (and her husband Josh), Steven (and his wife Kristy), Michael, Darryl, and Kayla (and her husband Alex). Lois also leaves behind 10 adoring great-grandchildren: Anthony, Christian, Olivia, Charlotte, Lucy, Margot, Ashton, Garrett, Corbin, and Maximus.

Lois dedicated many years to a successful career in the insurance industry, both in Pennsylvania and California, where her family eventually settled. Upon retirement, she completed a second degree in computer science. She later became an active member of the Modesto Institute for Continued Learning (MICL), where she served as the Hospitality Chair and head of the Travel Committee. Her commitment and leadership led to her election as president of MICL.

In her leisure time, Lois found joy in gardening, cooking, and most of all, spending quality time with her beloved family, all while adorning her signature red lipstick.

Lois will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
