Lois Buttner, a loving mother and dedicated wife, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024. She was born on October 12, 1951, and throughout her life, she brought joy, warmth, and a unique sense of humor to all she met.

Lois was best known for her radiant personality. She was loving, dedicated to her husband and children, and had a silliness that was contagious. Her warmth touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, and she often reminded us all to "not sweat the small things." This simple yet profound wisdom will certainly be carried forward by those who knew her best.

Among her many inviting traits, Lois was a generous amateur baker (we all remember those Christmas parties) and most proudly, the mother to two wonderful children. Her most significant accomplishment, however, was the nurturing and loving environment she created for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter and selflessness that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Lois is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joe Buttner, daughter, Catie Buttner, and son Bob Buttner. Her impact on their lives, and on the many others she has touched, will be felt for generations to come.

A Celebration of Life and truly, a Birthday Party, in honor of Lois's memory will be held on October 12, 2024, at 3:00 PM at 3 Shipwatch Rd, Savannah GA.
