Lois's obituary
Lois was born on August 12, 1938, in Wellington, Kansas, to the late George and Lois “Fern” Bruce. She married the love of her life, Gary Brady, on February 2, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and together they raised 4 daughters. She was a devout Christian, wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Always known to have the loudest laugh in any room, she will be deeply missed by all those she dearly loved.
Lois was passionate about volunteering in her community - which seemed like the entire world, as she and Gary spent the first part of their lives globe trotting with the Air Force. She also had a great ability with all textiles, from fabric to acrylic paints. She enjoyed spending time with her family as often as possible. In her later years, she was an active member of the Columbine Chapter of the Society of Military Widows and the Red Hat Society. She also dedicated many hours to her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary, daughters Mitzi and Kelly, and sisters and brothers Mary Lee Shelton, Robert Bruce, Lewis Bruce, Wanita Goodner, Bonnie Lou and Betty Jo Bruce.
She is survived by her daughters Christy Whitson and Margo Morrison and their spouses, her sister Margaret Davis, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and another on the way.
A service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00AM (MST) at the East Alameda Church of Christ in Aurora, Colorado.
