Lloyd Ronald Jones, 76, of Groves, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Ronnie was born September 26, 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lloyd W. Jones and Ora Bonnie Gibson Jones. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Groves First Baptist Church. Ronnie retired from Lyondell as a lab technician and was a member of Groves Masonic Lodge #1315. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Jones. Survivors include his daughters, DeSha Buchanan and husband Chris of Austin, Shana Tinnian of Leander; sister, Debra Schwartzenburg and husband Mickey of Houston; one grandchild, Jacob Ki. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Miller officiating.
