Lloyd's obituary
Lloyd was born on March 23, 1942 in Killarney, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Robert Arthur Edwards and Mable Josephine Harmon Edwards, the paternal grandson of Isom Calvin Edwards and Nancy Lavina Edwards and maternal grandson of Noah Wingo Harmon and Tressa Prescova Ross Harmon. LLoyd was raised by Tessie and Bryan Baldwin as his mother passed when he was only 6 months old. He was predeceased by brother, Donzie Edwards of South Carolina, Barbara Tedder of Kentucky, Rosette "Sissy" Whitely of West Virginia and Betty Lou Luckado of Virginia and grandson Logan Michael Turner of Springboro, Ohio tragically taken from our family in the Oregon District tragedy 2019, Life partner, Betty Pennington that he loved and missed dearly upon her passing in January.
Lloyd was a wonderful dad and grandfather to Logan, with many friends in all the locations that he resided. Lloyd had so many friends because he knew how to be a friend. We have lots of fond memories of our long weekends in Lake Cumberland, dad was the perfect host and always cooked up the biggest T-bone steaks he could find!
Lloyd leaves behind a loving daughter, Danita (Bill) Turner of Springboro Ohio and loving son, Bryan Edwards of New Carlisle, Ohio and first wife, Veronica Lennon of Tipp City, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Logan Michael Turner Scholarship Fund at Sinclair College in Dayton Ohio (give.sinclair.edu) per his wishes.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
