Liza's obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Liza Ann Arellano Hernandez, who at the tender age of 46, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven on March 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. She was born on August 9, 1977, in the humble town of Robstown, Texas, Liza was the cherished daughter of Luis Arellano and Sarita Aguilar Arellano. Liza was a devout Pentecostal, finding solace and strength in her faith throughout her life, also she dedicated over 5 years of her career as a Cook at Robstown Early College High School, where she nurtured the hearts and bellies of countless students, and her commitment to her community was unwavering, as she remained a lifelong resident of her beloved hometown. Beyond her professional pursuits, Liza found joy in simple pleasures, where she had a creative spirit and spent her free time working on arts and crafts projects. Also her love for music was evident in her joyous singing and spontaneous dance moves to her favorite tunes, and Liza cherished moments with her grandchildren, delighting in dressing up and capturing memories through selfies and photographs with her loved ones and friends. Liza was a beacon of love and kindness in the lives of all who knew her, where she was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, granddaughter, niece, and friend. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who were blessed to know her.
Liza is welcomed by our Lord and Savior in heaven to be reunited into the loving embrace of her grandmother, Zenaida Lugo; her aunt, Sylvia Maldonado; her uncle, Mike Aguilar; and her father-in-law, Trinidad Hernandez, who preceded her in death.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to her devoted husband of 30 years, Raul Hernandez, Sr., her children, Victoria Torres, Mark Torres and his wife Ashley Torres, Raul Hernandez, Jr., Rick Hernandez, Trini Hernandez; her parents, Luis and Sarita Arellano; her brother, Luis Arellano, Jr.; her sister, Esmeralda Arellano and her fiancé Lee Gibson; her mother-in-law, Alicia Hernandez; her brother-in-law, Trinidad Hernandez, Jr.; her sister-in-law, Luisa Hernandez; her grandchildren, Liam, Luke, Hailey, Markey, Laura, Olivia, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
The family invites loved ones and friends to join them in paying tribute and celebrating the life of Liza Ann Arellano Hernandez on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM that same evening at Ramon Funeral Home in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Ramon Funeral Home in Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Liza's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.
