Litzi S Marsh, 97, peacefully passed on November 3, 2021. She was born in 1924 in Vienna, Austria to Adolf and Blanca Sperling. She fled Vienna at age 14 with her family during the Holocaust and eventually settled in Illinois, where she met and married her first husband, Seymour Holniker. After his death, she married her current husband of 47 years- Harold Marsh. She was preceded in death by her first husband and her beloved sister, Elli Glist. She is survived by 3 children: Howard Holniker, Mark Holniker, and Marcie (Dave) Crawford; 5 grandchildren: Michele (Bret) Highley, Kelly (Michael) Martin, Sharlene Crawford, Thomas Crawford, and Mandy (James) Sakewicz; 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with many life-long friends.
