Lisa Tell Berland, age 54, of Colorado Springs, CO., and formerly from Brighton, CO, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2022 in Colorado Springs.

Lisa was born to Joylene Green and Clyde “Sonny” Lucas on December 15, 1967, in Denver, CO. Both of Lisa’s parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her two sons, Gabriel Berland, of Golden, CO., and Scotty Tell, of Aurora, CO.

Lisa attended high school at Denver South High graduating in 1986. Lisa then attended Metro State College in Denver where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with a minor in Botany in 1996.

Lisa’s career included work in Biology; she also worked as a Bookkeeper and in Administration, at Berland Technical Services in Denver, for many years. Lisa was also Co-Owner and officer at Berland Technical Services for many years.

Most recently, Lisa was employed by the US Census Bureau as a Field Representative for the Denver Regional Office.

Lisa also served as a volunteer, Victim’s Advocate for Adams County, Colorado, for a few years where she helped many residents cope with the trauma of either serious injury, or loss of a loved one.

Lisa will be sorely missed and will always remain in the hearts of loved ones and her many friends.
