Lisa L. Stamm, 50, of Mohnton, PA, passed away on November 6, 2020, at the Reading Hospital. She was the Postmaster of the Wernersville Post Office. Prior to her long career in the US Postal Service, Lisa worked in Early Childhood Education. She was the 1982 National Marbles Champion (Wildwood, NJ) and set many national records that year.

Lisa was a sensitive soul, kind and compassionate, and had a thirst for life. She was a wonderful mother who loved her daughter immensely and wanted nothing more than for her to be happy and healthy. She was a caring daughter, a silly sister, and a super fun aunt. She doted on her sidekick, a dachshund named Man, who will miss her terribly.

She found tremendous joy in the simplest things: flowers, nature, bird-watching, and being right. She is responsible for a family phrase “dolphin smile,” because the photo of her swimming with dolphins in Mexico captured her look of pure joy so well that we now refer to it when any of us are grinning in delight.

She had a love of reading and was an avid true crime fan, and we’re sure she’s going to be excited to find out the answers to the many unsolved mysteries she was interested in.

Above all, Lisa was never happier than when she was at the beach with her toes in the sand, watching the waves roll in.

Lisa leaves behind many who love her: daughter, Brianna; mother Betty J. Civitarese; father Wilson A. Stamm, step-mother Sheryl Stamm; brother Dan ; sisters, Nicole A. Stamm and Danielle M. Saad, wife of Ahmed Saad; nieces Layla and Sabrina; and her beloved dachshund Man, “Little Mister Guy”. She is also survived by aunts Clara Jean Bailey (Stamm), widow of Robert Bailey, and Kelly Civitarese, and cousins Michael Bailey, Steven Bailey, Diana Reeser (Bailey), Ashley Hartman (Civitarese) and Vincent Civitarese.

Funeral service and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you can show your support for Lisa’s daughter by donating to the fundraiser to help Brianna continue the care for her mother’s cherished pet. https://everloved.com/life-of…
