Lisa Monique Land was born October 20, 1957 In Hershey, PA and passed away January 18, 2026 in Flint, TX.

Lisa’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Lisa was a woman of remarkable spirit and resilience. She had a deep love for the outdoors. Her green thumb was legendary.

Lisa’s greatest joy in life was found through her relationships with family and friends. Lisa is lovingly remembered by her daughter Anessa Morgan, and son-in-law Adam Gardner of Tyler. Son Shawn Jo David Atkins and wife Katherine Atkins of Austin, TX.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren. Sierra Morgan of Jasper, TX. Katlyn Morgan Thibodeaux and husband Garrett Thibodeaux of Longview and great grandchildren Benjamin and EverleighThibodeaux. Her siblings Debbie Boyd of Longview, David Carter of Dallas,Jeff Carter of Dallas, and Sharon Carter Owens of Tyler; who also mourn her loss alongside numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, David and Verna Carter and Nephew Scott Daly.

Lisa is already deeply missed but now free from pain, drama, and pretense. May Lisa’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
