Lisa's obituary
Lisa Kim Allen (née Reuter), aged 52, passed away on June 18, 2024, in Vancouver, Washington. Born on June 21, 1971, in Platte, South Dakota, Lisa was known for her vibrant personality—funny, talkative, loving, giving, caring, and a great listener.
Lisa dedicated 19 years of her career as a Lunch Supervisor and Before and After Care provider at Vandenburg Elementary, where she touched the lives of many children and their families through her kindness and dedication.
She found spiritual solace and community at Fountain Springs.
Lisa’s hobbies included drawing, watching TV, crocheting, and spending precious moments with her daughters and grandson. These activities brought great joy to her life and allowed her to express her creative and nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her mother, Lorelei Reuter; brother, Lee Reuter; husband, Dwayne Allen; daughters, Christina Allen and Jennifer Goetzke; son-in-law, Mike Wright; son-in-law, Dillon Goetzke; and beloved grandson, Cooper Goetzke. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, William Reuter.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on July 21, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm at the Arrowhead Country Club. The family invites all who knew Lisa to join them.
