Lisa was predeceased by her loving parents, Wilbur and Gail Chretien. She is survived by her adoring brothers, Steve Chretien, her caring sister, Kelly Krepps, and her supportive brother-in-law, Mark Krepps. Her love and nurturing nature extended into her own family, being a doting mother to her children, Stephanie Farmer, Christopher Farmer, and Alexander LeMay.
Lisa was the heart of her family, which included her devoted niece, Whitney Krepps. Her importance in their lives is only matched by the love they carried for her. Her life was a living testament to her favorite quote, "Family is not just an important thing, it's everything."
Lisa's life was filled with love and laughter, from her marriage in 1988 to her move to Plano, TX in 2023. She was a lover of good food, with a particular fondness for Barbecue, and always enjoyed a chilled Pepsi with ice. A passionate reader, she found joy in books like "The Notebook" and "A Walk to Remember". Her eclectic taste in music ranged from Summer Garden to Third Eye Blind and Van Halen, whose performances she especially loved to attend.
Her TV preferences varied from crime dramas like CSI to reality shows like American Idol and The Voice. She also took pleasure in watching series like Sons of Anarchy, Manifest, and The Walking Dead. Her favorite films were The Notebook, Boondock Saints, and the Saw Trilogy.
A sports enthusiast, Lisa rooted for the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota Twins. In her downtime, she loved playing games like Skip-Bo, Hong Kong, Tetris, and Phase 10. She was also fond of the video game Crash Bandicoot. Reading, spending time with family, and playing card games ranked high among her favorite recreational activities.
Lisa was an active individual who loved walking and hiking. She cherished her time vacationing in California and frequenting local spots like Houlihan’s and Famous Dave’s. Living her life with a selfless spirit, she deeply cared about causes such as ASPCA and PFLAG. With green being her favorite color, her personality reflected its vibrance - she was friendly, always helping, cheerful, loving, kind, and funny.
