Lisa Evelyn White, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2024. Born as Liesel Evelyn Prenting on January 7, 1934 to parents Dorothy Dunaway and Bernard Prenting in Chicago, Illinois. Lisa attended the University of Illinois where she met her future husband H Edmund White.

Lisa was passionate in the creative arts and known for her stained glass, sculpture and other forms of art she made over the course of her lifetime.  She was an avid home cook and taught her sons to cook as well.

She is survived by her children David P White, Todd C White and Gareth D White, and their spouses Cynthia McKeon, Maida White and Laura Volante. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren William M McKeon-White and Elizabeth E McKeon-White. She was preceded in death by her former husband and her younger half siblings Del Galam and Darla Galam.
