A celebration of life for Lisa Renee Buchanan, 54 will be held on September 30, 2023 10:30 am, Westhill Church of Christ 1100 Westhill Dr, Cleburne, Tx.

Lisa was born in Beaumont, Texas April 5, 1969 to Mary Louise Buchanan and James Buchanan. She lived in Cleburne for many years and graduated from Cleburne High School where she expressed her love for music, singing in the choir. She was employed by Child Protective Services, where she assisted in opening the rainbow room and loved helping with the toy run. She also served with Johnson County MHMR. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, travel and gathering with friends. She met life each day with joy, loved jokes and laughter.

She enjoyed an adventurous life, living in Silsbee, TX, Cleburne, TX; Georgetown, TX; Fargo, North Dakota, and Cedar Park, TX.

She was met in heaven on September 6, 2023 by her parents and her brother David Buchanan. She will be missed by two sisters:  Dr. Donna Moncrief of San Antonio, TX and Cheryl Wood of Georgetown, TX; Brother Mike Buchanan, and his wife Melissa of Kansas City, KS; and sister-in-law Cindy Buchanan of Burleson, TX as well as nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle, many cousins and friends.
