In honor of Lisa’s life and legacy, a memorial education fund has been established to support the future of her beloved sons, Alex and Lucas. Lisa’s greatest joy and proudest role was being their mom. She poured her heart into raising them with kindness, curiosity, and resilience, always encouraging them to dream big and work hard.
Funds contributed through this memorial will be dedicated to Alex and Lucas’ college education, helping to provide them with the opportunities Lisa so deeply valued. Your generosity is a meaningful way to honor Lisa’s life, her love for her family, and her enduring commitment to her children’s future.
Lisa lived with extraordinary courage through a nine-year battle with breast cancer. From the very beginning, she faced each diagnosis, treatment, and setback with strength, grace, and determination. While cancer was part of her story, it never defined her. Lisa chose, again and again, to focus on living fully and showing up for the people who mattered most to her; her family, friends, colleagues, and students .
Throughout her journey, Lisa remained a devoted wife, a loving mother, a loyal friend, and a source of quiet inspiration to those around her. She navigated years of treatments and uncertainty while continuing to prioritize her family, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful memories with the most important people in her life, Alex and Lucas.
