Lisa's obituary
With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Lisa Ballantyne, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Lisa was born on September 8, 1954, and gracefully departed this world on July 19, 2024.
Lisa is survived by her loving family – her husband of forty-nine years, Bill Ballantyne, her daughter, Marisa Donecker, her beloved grandchildren, Lily and Cole Donecker, and son-in-law, Seth Donecker. She also leaves behind her brother, Joseph (Chip) Carosia, her sister-in-law, Maryrose Carosia, and her nephews, Peter and Charles Wapner, and niece, Jennifer Kelly. Her brother-in-law, Keith Wapner, also survives her.
She is predeceased by her parents, June and Joseph Carosia, and her sister, June Wapner. These three remarkable people were influential forces in Lisa’s life, and despite their absence, Lisa always carried them in her heart.
Professionally, Lisa was an exceptional Elementary School Teacher at Lititz Elementary School in Lititz, Pa. This career allowed her to positively influence countless young lives. Lisa recently moved from Lititz, Pennsylvania to Estero, Florida, to be closer to her family, who were the center of her world.
A Celebration of Life for Lisa will be held on August 10, 2024, at 12:30 PM at the WildBlue Clubhouse on Wildblue Boulevard Estero, Florida. This is an opportunity for all who knew and loved Lisa to come together and celebrate the remarkable woman that she was and the indelible impact she made on those around her.
In her memory, let us never forget the beaming light that was Lisa Ballantyne, a woman whose love and dedication to those around her knew no bounds. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
