The thing I remember about Lionel most was him shifting around in his chair when called on to share with the group. You could see he had relaxed but felt that it was important to be proper when providing guidance to others.  You could see that he cared a great deal.
We all loved Lionel very much. He will be missed ❤️

When I first joined AA, it seemed I bumped into Lionel at every meeting I tried: Dry Dock, OPP, or Ferndale. He made me feel like a friend from the beginning. And then he shared his love of spiritual exploration, letting me know that there endless pathways to feeling a High Power.
Shared a heart Red heart

While I only knew Lionel a short time, I appreciated him immensely
Lionel was a gifted man and I am grateful to have known him. I can still hear him say, “you have to learn to listen , so you can listen to learn “.  He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayer are with your family.
