It is with great sadness we share the passing of Lindsey Jo Stevens Hylton on December 31, 2019. Lindsey, the daughter of Joe and Sharon Stevens, was born July 18, 1977. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son Kyle Scott Hylton, sister Corrie Stevens Lovejoy and husband Ray Lovejoy, sister Niki Stevens, niece Savanna Lovejoy and nephew Cooper Lehotay, loving grandmother Fern Coleman, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandparents Waldo and JoEmma Stevens, Quentin Martin and Isaac R. Coleman. Lindsey will always be remembered for her kind soul and strong spirit. She had an endearing love for her family, especially her son Kyle. Lindsey loved horses and excelled in equestrian pursuits. She was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Lindsey was a proud honor graduate of Marshall University theater department where she was often cast in leading roles. She also loved the outdoors. Her family cherished the many memories made traveling the Appalachian, Cascades and Rocky Mountains snowboarding. The same can be said of the many days spent oceanside at the family house in North Carolina basking in the light. She was loved dearly, will be deeply missed and will always be remembered for the sparkle in her eye and infectious laugh. A private memorial service will be held in the upcoming weeks.
