Lindsay's obituary

Lindsay Pierce, a cherished daughter, sister, mother and friend, passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 40. Born on December 26, 1982, Lindsay brought light, love, and laughter into the lives of those who knew her.

We unexpectedly lost our beloved Lindsay way too soon. Lindsay was a beautiful, vibrant soul with a big heart, and her infectious smile could light up any room. She was a loving daughter and sister, an amazing mother, and a true friend to all. We all loved her so much and were so blessed to have her in our lives. She was kind, generous and selfless.

As a Special Education Teacher, Lindsay impacted the lives and educations of so many children over the years. Now we have the opportunity to honor Lindsay and impact the lives and education of her children when they need it most.

Lindsay was the proud mom of Makayla and Aiden. As they mourn this unimaginable loss they begin to face a future without their mom. To help support them now and in the future we are establishing a trust for each of Lindsay’s kids, Makayla and Aiden, to help them live their lives to the fullest as she would have wanted for them. Every dollar will go directly to the kids’ trusts.

It is heartbreaking to say goodbye, and it's still hard to accept that Lindsay is gone so soon. However, we can try to take comfort in knowing that she relished bringing so much joy and love to of our lives and the lives of Makayla and Aiden.

Lindsay will be deeply missed, but will be remembered fondly in our hearts forever.

Lindsay is survived by her children Makayla Yanes & Aiden Whitlock; her mother and father, Norma & Phillip Pierce; her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer & Brian Fletcher; grandmother Peggy Pierce; and many aunts, uncles, & cousins. All of whom will continue to carry on her memory and honor her legacy.

The Memorial Service for Lindsay will be this Saturday, June 24 at 1:00 pm at White Rock United Methodist Church  1450 Old Gate Ln Dallas, Tx 75218.

After the service there will be a reception for family and friends to visit in the White Rock United Methodist Church fellowship hall, with snacks and drinks.

In lieu of flowers, we are setting up a trust for each of her children - Makayla and Aiden.
