Lindsay's obituary

Lifelong Gilroy resident and local legend, Lindsay Thomas Crocker was found deceased in his home on the morning of Sept. 28th, from what appears to have been complications from congestive heart/kidney/liver failure.  He was the youngest of 4 boys, born to Arnold and Lillian Crocker.  He was known and loved by so many.  If you're from Gilroy and have lived here your whole life, chances are you have a story about him. He had the most beautiful smiling eyes, wavy blonde hair and a laugh that was so incredibly contagious. He loved reminiscing and telling stories about the good ole days. He was known for a multitude of things, but his love of fast cars, humor, and loud outspoken attitude stood out the most, as well as helping countless members of the community throughout the years. He was a mechanic by blood, and loved finding nontraditional ways of making things work. If you were ever down on your luck and in need of automotive repair in a pinch, he was the man to make it happen. He loved his family, his animals, anything Chevy, Women and raisin' hell -as he would put it. He was a devoted son, father, and friend. He is survived by his children; Sabrina, Emily Ann, Arnold II, Molly, and grandson Matteo. Its hard to believe a man so full of life is no longer with us. He will be painfully missed but his memory will live on forever. Things just wont be the same without him. Please feel free to post any memories you feel ARE APPROPRIATE to share. We'd love to hear them. Rest in Peace Dad. We love you.
