Linda Wynsma-Karnes, age 59 of Spring Lake, Michigan, departed this earthly life to her eternal heavenly home on Friday, June 2, 2023, after a valiant 21-month battle against cancer. Linda lived every day of life with joy, vitality, and abundant love. She deeply loved the Lord, family and friends, living out her favorite verse of 1 John 4:7. She was compassionate and caring, providing a loving home for those in adult foster care for over 30 years. Linda enjoyed summer, boating, pickleball, running, dressing up for events, dancing, and traveling.

Linda will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She leaves behind her husband, Rich Karnes; her children, Jamie Wooning, Lisa and Nick Wahl, and Alex Wooning; her granddaughter, Lydia Wahl; her mother, Anita Wynsma; her siblings, Ken and Renee Wynsma, Lorie and Jim Riley, and David and Elizabeth Wynsma, among many other family and friends who were dear to her heart. Linda was greeted in heaven by her father, Ken Wynsma, and her nephew, Eric Wynsma.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, 11:00am, at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard St. Coopersville, MI. A fellowship luncheon will follow in the Church Activity Center.  The service will be livestreamed on YouTube; the link can be found on the "events" section of this site.
