Linda Rita Sylvester

Hudson, NH - Linda Rita Sylvester, age 71, passed away on June 18, 2024, in Nashua, NH. She was born on December 19, 1952, in Lawrence, MA.

Linda was a beloved mother to her daughters, Jodi Daigle and fiance Patrick Twomey and Kelly Fitzpatrick and her husband Michael.  She cherished her role as a Mamie to her grandchildren, Kassandra McLaughlin and her husband Shaun, Tyler Daigle, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Cole Fitzpatrick, great grandaughter Hallie Rae McLaughlin, and baby girl McLaughlin on the way.  Linda was a beloved sister to Donna Benoit and her husband Robert, Ruthann Guilmette and her husband David, Dennis Sylvester, Shawn Sylvester and his wife Darlene, and Daniel Sylvester and his wife June.

Linda was known for her sassy demeanor, speaking her mind with a spark that left a lasting impression on all who knew her. In her leisure time, Linda found joy in family gatherings, trips to Salisbury Beach, and relaxing by the pool. She loved the excitement of casino visits with Jodi and Patrick and her sisters and brothers. Over the years she was an avid bingo enthusiast and loved playing the game with her extended family and friends. Linda also enjoyed playing iPhone games and keeping in touch with loved ones through Facebook and social media.

Linda's vibrant personality and caring nature extended beyond her family, as she found fulfillment in her work as a CNA, especially caring for the elderly. Throughout her career, Linda worked at AT&T and Lucent Technologies in Andover, MA, before dedicating herself as a CNA working for many healthcare facilities.

Linda will be deeply missed by her daughters, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita and Chester Sylvester, and siblings Sandra Bourassa, Robin Sylvester, Barbara O'Neil and many close relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Linda on 07/12/24 from 4-8pm.  Additional information to follow via FaceBook
