It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Swirhun on June 24, 2020 at Kelowna Hospice House after a valiant fight against cancer. Linda leaves behind her loving husband of 23 years Ken Abbott-Smith, her precious daughter Kimberley Resch of Red Deer, AB, sisters Joanie (Peter) of Osoyoos, BC, Joy (Dave) of Chemainus, BC, brother Reg (Cheryl) of Nanaimo, BC, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Sadly Linda is predeceased by her son Steven Resch in 2006 and brother Murray Simnes in 2013.

Linda was truly an amazing and one of a kind lady, she was loved by many and is going to be sorely missed.

The family would like to thank the health care professionals at the Kelowna Cancer Clinic and Kelowna Hospice House for their kind care and compassion.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kelowna Hospice House or Canadian Cancer Society.
