Linda Mae Swanson, 77, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully and comfortably on July 29, 2021, with family by her side at Banner University Medical Center.

Funeral services have not been planned at this time.

Linda grew up in North Carolina and was very close to her mother and sister. Linda had many special memories with her Grandma Melia Philips. She spent her younger years helping care for her siblings, creating friendships, loving her animals, and listening to the storms that rolled through the Carolina mountains.

In 1993, Linda married Willard Swanson and they spent many happy years together attending car shows and traveling on their motorcycle. Linda worked for an OBGYN, Dr. Timmes, for 15+ Years and spent much of her working years helping and loving others. Although she did not have any kids of her own, she loved Willard’s children like her own and became the glue for the family.

Linda loved her grandchildren and played a large role is raising them. Linda spent many of her weekends shopping with her grandchildren and spoiling them with a love like no other. Linda was blessed to enjoy a few years with her great grandchildren and she always looked forward to spending time with them.

Linda is survived by her Husband; Willard Swanson, Her mom; Pauline Phillips, her sister; Brenda Prestwood (Tommy), her niece; Donna Bristol, her children; Rochelle Regan (Chris), Darrell Swanson (Deborah), Jeffrey Swanson (Wynonna), her grandchildren Amy Baker (John), Amanda Hovorka (Jeremy), Ashley Jones (Ryan),Josh Swanson, her great grandchildren Paisley Baker, Abbigail Jones, Ryan Hovorka, Sophie Hovorka, her great nephews; Josh Laforgia, Jake Laforgia, and Jessie Laforgia.
