On Monday, June 7th 2021, Linda June Sutton, loving child of God and church member at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at age 80.
Linda was born on June 21, 1940 at Lying-In hospital in Providence, RI to Robert and Ethel Sutton. Linda worked at the Nicholson File Company in Providence and in later years she worked for the Amica insurance company and as a pharmacist assistant at the Providence VA medical center. She lived in Riverside, RI for many years on 60 Cove Street and moved to Little River South Carolina in 1996 with her sister Roberta and brother Robert (Bobby) Sutton who have preceded her in death. She spent her last days in Lakeland, Florida with her nephew and niece Michael and Susan Buckley who helped take care of her. Linda loved animals and had many cats and dogs during her life. She also enjoyed fishing and loved to watch fishing and golf on tv. Linda was proceeded in death by her sisters’ Dorothy Brumfiel, Ethel Benson, Elizabeth (Betty) Kleiner, Norma McDonagh, Roberta Sutton, and Joanne Buckley and brothers Peter and Robert (Bobby) Sutton. Linda leaves behind both a sister Marjorie (Midge) Walker and brother Richard Sutton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no funeral or viewing per her wishes.
