Linda Sue Brown, age 72, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022.

Linda was born on June 4, 1949 to John and Mary Boone in Trotwood, Ohio. After graduating from Arcanum High School, she went on to graduate from Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas. At college, she met Larry in Bible class, and they were married just after graduation in August 29, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio. They made their first home in Scottsdale, Arizona, going on to have three children, Darin, David, and Suzi. The family moved to Drexel, North Carolina in 1987, then Columbus, Ohio in 1990, and finally Temperance, Michigan in 1994. As empty nesters, Larry and Linda relocated to Highlands Ranch in 2010 and started attending Cherry Hills Community Church.

She dedicated her life to God, her church and being a fantastic and wonderful wife and mother. Linda excelled at supporting her family, many grandchildren and numerous church friends throughout her life. She made it her mission to improve the lives of those around her.

Linda excelled in math and physics early in primary school, but later became passionate in sewing, quilting, and embroidery. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren the most, but enjoyed playing church softball, gardening, and baking over the years. She was always quick to share a laugh or recipe.

When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found out in the garden planting or with family at many holiday get togethers, birthdays, or celebrations. She always took care of her family and others first and we will miss her greatly. 

Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Kay Boone, brother Robert Boone, and sister Carolyn (Boone) Walters. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Brown; three children, Darin Brown, David Brown and Suzi Kreklau; nine grandchildren; and her two brothers, Dennis and John Boone.

There will be a memorial service on April 10, 2022 at 2 PM at Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church in 3908 Grace Blvd, Highlands Ranch, CO, 80126.
