Obituary

Elder Linda Marie (Huntley) Stroud, 72 of Ridgeway Drive, Kannapolis NC, passed away Friday, August 4, at Tucker Hospice House.

She was born August 17, 1950 to the late Jobe Birdeye Huntley and the late Mattie Bell Archie Huntley.

Linda received her education in the Kannapolis City School System where she was a graduate of G. W. Carver High School and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was Co-Pastor of Chosen Harvest Believing The Word Ministries.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 11:00 AM — 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at New Smith Chapel Church Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Stroud and sister Sherry Huntley.

Those left to cherish fond memories include two daughters, Thilishia Bolder of Charlotte, NC; Tonya Hamilton of Charlotte, NC; one son Roderick Huntley of Charlotte, NC; four brothers, Bishop James Huntley (Cheryl) of Clinton, MD; Leonard Huntley (Barbara) of Charlotte, NC; Steward Huntley of Salisbury, NC; Prentice Huntley of Kannapolis, NC; nine grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and fifty-six great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
