I loved the story she told me about the big black football player that pick her up in the middle of the classroom and said, Nobody in the school be mean to mrs Bremcamp! She's my favorite teacher.

I always enjoyed talking with Aunt Linda when our families would gather on Sundays at Grandma and Grandpa's. She always had great stories to tell about her classroom experiences. and she included me in conversations as though I were one of the other adults around the table and not the junior high or high school kid that I was. If I had to pick one word to describe her it would be "clever." I was always impressed with her talents in the kitchen and the sewing room. She would bring delicious dishes to our family gatherings. A few years before Uncle Jim passed away he and Aunt Jean and Mom came to my house for dinner. I served a recipe that's in my cook book labeled "Aunt Linda's Meat Loaf." Everyone loved it and reminisced about what a good cook Linda was. I thought it was so clever of her to get her girls ready for bed, including pajamas, before they left Grandma's to go home. She would change them out of the matching outfits she had made for them, and into their jammies so they could be put right to bed when they got home. But my favorite memory of her was her wedding day. She let Becky Bremkamp and me pretend we were flower girls and follow her around at the reception while she and Bob were visiting guests. We were trying to "hold up the hem of her dress so it wouldn't get dirty." It probably got grubby enough with our grubby little six-year-old hands grabbing at it.
So sorry to hear of Aunt Linda's passing. We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you. Steve & Sue
