A Tribute to a Mother's Love
Mom, oh mom, a heart of gold,
A mother's love, that never grew old.
With gentle hands, and a caring soul,
You held our family together, making us whole.
Your kindness, patience, and generous heart,
Inspired us to be better, from the very start.
You were the glue, that held us tight,
A bond of love, that shone like a beacon in the night.
Though I've made decisions, that I now regret,
And wonder what could've been, if I had done what you'd expect,
Your love and guidance, were always by my side,
A constant reminder, of the love you provided.
Now that you're gone, I'm left to ponder,
The what-ifs, and the could-haves, that haunt me like a thunder.
But even in grief, I find solace in the thought,
That you were here, and your love was always brought.
So I'll hold on to memories, of your loving ways,
And strive to make you proud, in these remaining days.
Though you may be gone, your legacy remains,
A testament to your love, that will forever sustain.
Rest now, dear mom, and know you're free,
Your love, a flame, that will forever burn in me.
I'll carry you with me, every step of the way,
And honor your memory, each and every day.
With all my love, and a heart that's true,
I'll miss you, mom, but I'll always see you.
