Linda's obituary

Linda Jean Penn (Ackerman) 78 of Sierra Vista, formerly Mckeesport, PA passed away on October 2, 2024. Born on September 8 1946, daughter of Carl Ackerman Sr. and Jean Magee Rodman.

Linda dedicated her life to her family, crocheting, puzzles, and bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her skills at crocheting were top notch. She would spend hours creating afghans, stockings, and sweaters. This was only rivaled by her love of puzzles. She was a small woman with a personality that made her 7 feet tall. This truly made her one of a kind. She was preceded in death by her parents Jean Magee Rodman, Carl Ackerman Sr., Her husband Thomas Penn, her son Robert Baranchak JR and grandson Michael Baranchak. Siblings Merry (Dave) Singler, Lisa Wimbs, Carol and Perry Ackerman. Survived by her children John (JD) (Linda) Baranchak, Janet (Steve) Louie, & like a second daughter to her, Bethany Ackerman. Siblings, Harry (Rosalinda) , Carl JR (Denise), Bruce, Glenn (Frank), Allen (Emma) Donna Ackerman, Patricia (Tom) Maldonado, Irene (Domingo) Alvarez, Kathy (James) McNelis, Roberta (Jon) Rodman. Grand children and great grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial at a later date.

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.”
